Sportsmanship
We all want to be a good teammate but many of us are new to swimming and are not sure what is expected. Here are a few guidelines:
* Stay in the pool and in your lane until every swimmer in your event has finished.
* Lean over the lane line to congratulate the swimmer beside you, whether you are the first one to the wall or the last one. Swimming is more about improving your own time than "winning" so each swimmer should be proud of their accomplishments! if you are the winner, be sure not to brag. Remember, we are all in this together!
* We expect good sportsmanship from both athletes and spectators.
*Have fun cheering all the swimmers!
