Plain City Shark Coaching Staff
My name is Greg Nussbaum. I graduated from Jonathan Alder High School in 2025, where I was a two year varsity letterman on the high school swim team. I am attending The Ohio State University to study Health Sciences. I have been part of the Sharks since the first season and this will be my fifth year coaching, I am so excited for the season!
My name is Emme Edwards. I am a senior year at Jonathan Alder High School. For the past 9 years I have loved swimming with the Plain City Sharks. I am also currently part of our high school swim team. I look forward to being able to help younger swimmers learn more about swimming. I am so excited to be a part of the upcoming season as a lane coach!
My name is Lily Schneider. I am a senior at Jonathan Alder High School. I have always loved the sport of swimming from a very young age. I have been swimming for United Swim Association since I was 8. I also swim for the Sharks in the summer. I am currently swimming on the high school swim team, and plan on doing it for the rest of my high school career. Outside of my time at the pool I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends, as well as reading and babysitting. I hope to inspire kids to have a love for swimming during my lane coaching and can't wait for the season ahead!
My name is Leyla Ruth. I’ll be a junior at Jonathan Alder High School in the 25-26 school year. I have been swimming with the PC Sharks since 2017 and I swam on the high school swim team for 2 years. I love swimming and I love working with kids. I can’t wait to be a lane coach this summer, to inspire kids to grow their skills in the water, and become more confident in their swimming abilities. I can’t wait for this Sharks season!!
My name is Peyton Sifrit. I am graduated with the Jonathan Alder High School's class of 2025. I’ve been swimming with the Sharks for 8 years. Outside the pool, I’m normally with friends or on the soccer field. I’m so excited to be a part of the staff, watch everyone grow, and cheer them on every second of the season. I'm so excited for the upcoming season!
My name is Lainey Nussbaum and I am a freshman at Jonathan Alder High School. I have been a swimmer with the Plain City Sharks since our inaugural season, when I was 6 years old. I have also been a swimmer with the Hilliard HURY team for 8 years. This was my first season swimming with the high school team and I received my varsity letter. I am so excited to be a lane coach this year! Go Sharks!
